Eva Masaki BabyT Leather River Sunglasses

BabyT is an update on the Eva Masaki classic TAEA frame, sized down from an oversized 51 to a 47 for a slightly smaller frame. Built from lightweight stainless steel, the BabyT like the TAEA is designed to fit a wide range of face shapes. Handmade in Northern Italy. Available in a set of unique colorways inspired by the Japanese alpine village, Takasu, in Gifu Prefecture where designer Eva Masaki once lived. “I have the fondest memories of living there: the roaring river flowing down from the mountains, the fishermen deep in these waters, driving along rice fields, hot springs, the brightest stars in the dark sky, and the warmth of the villagers.”

Matte gold frame hand-wrapped in black and yellow tortoise acetate with temple tips covered in caramel goat leather. Dark green lens by Zeiss. A color combination recalling the Nagara river in the mountain region of Takasu.
